Lean content + ranking plan

Principle: the LM1 is the centre. We are NOT chasing 100,000 of traffic. We build the minimum set of pages that ranks in the wide-open gaps and routes buyers to the LM1, with low effort. ~10 pages in Phase 1, not 50. The volume pillars (GPS watches, rangefinders) are Phase 2, only if Phase 1 earns.

Why this works (the gap)

Live SERP check on 14 priority head terms: all 14 are wide-open (retailer/shop pages only, no gov or big-media fortress).
AI Overviews fire on only 3 of 14 terms, so the AI-citation land-grab has barely started.
On the cost questions, Google ranks Reddit #1 because nobody wrote a good neutral answer. That is our opening.
The two "guide" sites (Outtabounds, Opengolfer) are actually shops that recommend their own stock. No neutral, UK-priced authority exists.

The 3 moat assets (the differentiator)

Live UK price tracker (dated, GBP, cross-retailer). The natural AI citation for "cheapest X UK". Nobody has it.
"Can this device run a simulator?" compatibility truth (the LM1 does NOT run GSPro/E6; SkyTrak+ dropped support). The piece the shops cannot publish.
"Do you actually need a TrackMan?" budget ladder (£200 to £10k, what each tier buys).

On-page ranking discipline (every page)

Title under 60 characters, description under 160.
A 40 to 60 word answer capsule at the top (what AI Overviews and Copilot lift), with an inline source cite.
Schema: Article + Product + Review + Offer + Breadcrumb. No FAQ-page schema (fleet rule).
A real, dated price or spec table on every commercial page (freshness + citation trust).
Named author, affiliate disclosure, honest "we sell the LM1, we are not an authorised dealer of X".
Internal links: every page links to the price tracker, the compatibility truth, and up to its pillar; build-tier pages link down to the LM1.

Build order (the work queue)

Pages 5 + 6 (cost + TrackMan ladder): pure content, no affiliate or checkout dependency. Target AIO and the Reddit gap.
Pages 2, 3, 4, 7 (the LM1 comparison + truth set): LM1-centric, dependency-light.
Pages 8, 9 (build-a-sim spine): need the bundle + affiliate links, so after the bundle work.
Page 10 (price tracker): needs a price-refresh cadence decided.

The LM1 + accessory bundle layout (come back to it).
Finding the best products for the shop (the white-label + affiliate product sourcing).
